Sander J. van Minnen In Oktober 2006, Popstory.com was founded by Sander J. van Minnen as a side-project for his Mediaproduction company Blue Skies Mediaproducties. With his company he serves over 100 different websites from all over the world, partly corporate such as MCB-Bank, Curado Trust, Motherwear™, partly non-profit websites such as the Retinitis Pigmentosa Network and partly private and hobby sites such as the fansites on Popstory.com. His first steps on the internet began in the early days of 1994, when internet wasn't really a big thing yet. Before this period, Sander was active for several months on the ancient forefathers of the internet, FIDOnet and numerous regional BBS networks. What began as a hobby turned out to become a full-time job. Sander also has a history in the Dutch radio landscape, working as a producer and co-host for several popular radioshows. At this moment however, his main priority lies at providing quality webservices to commercial and non-commercial parties. He strongly believes this medium still is in his early development days, quickly becoming more and more structured, efficient, usefull and accessible where and when it's needed.
